I construct.
For the first time in a long time, time hasn't been stretched to feel as though it were an eternity. Things have been accelerating and this trend will no doubt continue! There's not much to review, so I shall mostly reflect!
Goals of the Previous Quarter

☐ (50%) [ X ]As the time of posting this, I am over halfway through [VII].
[VI] was completed about two or three weeks ago, and given the time scale it took to get this far since starting Metaforma (which was June 2021, with [VI] taking at least two months), this is incredibly fast.
It also helps that the rest of Metaforma is going to be a taking an organic direction in regards to style. Accuracy is still necessary for [VII], but it will get progressively loose and, well, "artsy," especially once [VIII] rolls around. [IX] is going to draw everything together to a close and I do have a rough outline how this will be done, but it'll certainly need some ironing out.
As I work towards the end, I'm increasingly satisfied with how it's shaping up, which is incredibly rare, because, typically, all stages of my work is done with irritation with flickers of curiosity (as I tend to, accidently, make interesting things happen) - especially finalization. Granted, I'm not that close to finalization yet, so I could still reach this point towards the act of writing itself, so we'll see!
I look forward to completing this, and I could, easily, go rambling on about why, however, it might be self-evident. I've been pouring all of my focus and attention on this for 7-8 months, and soon to be, another four.
As I bring this to completion, I'm increasingly convinced that - and I have been thinking this upon finalizing the foundation of the work - Metaforma will be the height of anything I may ever come to create. Sure, what will emerge from this work may (well, actually, definitively will) be even larger, but without Metaforma, it just won't happen, and if it does, it will not be as structured. But what makes Metaforma so important to me is that, and this cannot be understated, the sheer degree of peace the content itself brings me is, and likely forever will be, unparalleled. All things I have come to experience of the world throughout its construction has come to be contextualized by it seamlessly.
Metaforma is my own expression of clarity and a consolidation of what I'm certain of that also heightens the contrast of what I'm uncertain of.
I'm unconcerned what others may think of it. Others will never be able to see the world as I do, and Metaforma, admittedly, is a laughable attempt at trying, but another thing I realize is that it's not something to convince others of its demonstration. What good is that going to do? One cannot force another to see the world a certain way, but only demonstrate what one sees. Given the nature of the work, I'm certain I'll be asked to explain what some things mean (despite me trying to be as explicit and concise as I can without directly referencing the world; I won't be able to help vagueness in this instance) and the best that I can do is render its parallels to the world more apparent. If they disagree (or more likely, find it to be lacking in nuance), then not much more can be said.
Metaforma is to be resonated with, and should someone already have a grasp on its contents, in their own, contextualized, personalized language (that only they know), then one needs only transcribe its contents to their own internalized framework.
Metaforma is an expression of implicit knowledge, not explicit knowledge. I suppose it was meant to be all along. Desire, its precursor, I realize, was also implicit. It's only fitting that the refinement of something implicit also manifests as something implicit.
I can only hope others find something valuable in the totality of its art form, and upon consideration, this may be inevitable. Even if one hates something, there's value in it to them, even if that value is negative; they expand their preferences and taste, and that, in itself, is valuable.
Regardless of their view of it, they will be inspired, whether it is apparent to themselves or not!
Goals of the New Quarter
Finish writing Metaforma.
Revise, edit, format, design, and finalize Metaforma.
Make preparations for the launch.
For the sake of hastening of development, as well as its recurring, compounding, and (increasingly) unignorable personal significance, the planned release for Metaforma is April 22, 2022.
Last quarter's prediction for completion was accurate.
I plan to be completely done with the work by the end of March.
From now until then, development and planning is going to accelerate.
With this, I descend into my relative silence one final time - there is work to be done!
